My primary focus is Residency, Sales tax and Nexus issues.

For more than 30 years, I worked at the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance, and served as a District Audit Manager of the Manhattan and Brooklyn districts. There, I worked on many high profile residency audits including those involving professional athletes, entertainers, and other high-net-worth individuals. I also have years of corporation tax audit experience.

Active in the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), I served as President of the NYSSCPA Queens/Brooklyn Chapter.  I also chair the Queens/Brooklyn Tax Committee, and  I'm a member of the NYSSCPA New York, Multistate & Local Taxation Committee.  I am also involved in the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP) as Co-Chair of the Nassau MAP Committee.

I write and speak on various State and Local Tax issues, always keeping current on key tax regulations, cases, and ways to help solve my clients' tax problems.
